For those of you who are interested, our story involves two amazingly cool people (or so I tell myself).
The Man of the House (which happens to be whatever structure we are currently living in, either by ourselves or with someone else), Grayson, is a man of many words, a social person who absolutely and without a doubt LOVES sports. Not kidding. I think the only sport he doesn’t watch fervently is golf, but he’d watch it more often if I didn’t completely hate it, could there be anything more boring? Sorry golf lovers . . . He is the best google searcher that I know, he’s out looking for things months before I even think about it, and nothings good enough until he’s sure he’s looked at all of the options (great quality when looking for apartments). He loves dogs and considers himself a dog whisperer. He also plays guitar and sings, kinda sounds like Gavin DeGraw, mmm so good. He LOVES God and is constantly seeking after Him and challenging me to do the same.
Me, I am not a social person, I can be if the need arises, but the background is my stomping ground. My strong sense of loyalty added to the love of sports I picked up from my husband means I am an avid fan (for the big games). I love art, and cannot wait until I get to paint and decorate my own home. I can’t seem to grow up, regardless of the fact that I have a degree, I still have no clue what I want to be. I love photography and capturing all the different moments in our life. My family is very near and dear to my heart, I grew up in a family of four girls, there really is nothing like it. I love to sing and reading is always a “I’m feeling lazy” option (which is often). I also LOVE God and I am excited to see how he keeps directing our lives.
Together, Grayson and I, we’ve been married a year from this past September. We fight a lot, we agree on the important things to be sure, but everything else is up for debate. We love being with friends and “Settlers of Katan” is a must have at any hangout. We also love traveling and meeting new people, hence Spain. Being music lovers, shows like American Idol and The Voice are never missed and our itunes “tunes” are frequently the background music to our life. I love my “sexy butt” life with him always offers something new. I have learned a lot about myself and how I relate to others based on our relationship, I love and hate his honesty, God knew what He was doing when he stuck the two of us together.
